Club Classes:

We offer Adult/Youth and Children's classes year-round. See our Practice Schedule for class times. Visiting Aikido students are always welcome to drop-in. If you are interested in Aikido, we encourage you to drop by and watch a class and ask questions of the instructors or senior students. It is not necessary to take the introductory classes prior to joining the regular club classes.

There are different training fees for the different age groups of Adults, Students, Youth and Children. Details can be found in the Fees document on the Forms & Notices page. Note: No student will be turned away due to financial reasons.

Introductory Classes:

Adult/Youth, Children and Family introductory classes are offered through City of Calgary Recreation Programs. For more information on Calgary Recreation co-sponsored introductory programs at Southland Leisure Centre, call the Recreation Program Specialist at 251-8126.

New Kids Class Website

About:

There is a new Aikido Tanren Juku-Kids website that was created by some of our very own students. They came up with the concept, and put together the information and built the website itself. It is intended to be directed to all students of the Aikido Tanren Juku kids program and contain information including belt requirement listings, technique videos, announcements and much more. Students can also submit stories or ideas for website topics which will then be incorporated in the future. We invite you to check it out, and parents please check out the internet safety section. Please note that all emails and submissions to the website will be reviewed by an adult prior to response or publication.

Access:

This site is password protected and the password will be changed periodically to ensure that only current students have access. To obtain access, please see Sensei who will give you a questionnaire to complete. Once you obtain access, please use the link on this page or in the left-navigation on any page.
